Collaboration with District 96 Beer Factory.
For our first Quadruple IPA, we teamed up with our good friends at District 96 Beer Factory for their first official Cali collab to bring you "Snake Park". This TDH Hazy QIPA was conceptualized on our trip out to New York back in November. John and Lorenzo welcomed us with open arms and delivered some crazy exceptional hospitality so we knew we had to brew up something big, hazy and special with those guys! A lethal dose of Citra Cryo, Citra Incognito, Nelson and Rakau attack the senses by delivering a deadly strike of tropical pineapple, red strawberry, juicy orange and drippy mango tasting notes. All of us here at North Park Beer Company strongly encourage you to ENJOY THE SNAKE because we love this beer and think you will too!

Picked up this and another 4-pack on a recent trip to North Park. Was looking forward to another North Park Hazy TIPA. Poured a bright golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. A serene setting underneath with no noticeable bubbles. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Citra, lemon, grapefruit, diesel, Nelson, tangerine, pineapple, peach, nectarine, stone fruit, mango and orange peel. About as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted better than the nose but not worth a 4.5 in my opinion. In order got Citra, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, tangerine, Nelson, peach, nectarine, stone fruit, mango, orange peel and mixed berry. Fairly smooth for 13.0 pct. AV. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Long, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was an excellent hazy TIPA. Probably was expecting a little more but still excellent. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet white wine grape, orange citrus, and hoppy citrus-boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a balanced, tropical hoppy and grapefruit citrus bitter finish...at it warms, that TDH hoppy bitterness starts to dominate. To be fair, I had this just a few days after canning and this needs to sit for a little while to hit its sweet spot. This does, however, hide the big ABV on the palate extremely well. This is definitely a little hot, but it's still really good and that's how I like em!
