West Coast IPAs never say die and we are leading the charge to make sure that it never does! Without further ado, we proudly present "Older Than Bones" Double Dry Hopped West Coast Double India Pale Ale hopped with Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Mosaic Incognito, Centennial, Chinook, and Strata. The nose is reminiscent of fresh bouquets of peonies falling at your feet as you walk through a grove of California orange trees. On the sip, we are getting overwhelmed with delicious tasting notes of wild blueberry, juicy orange, and perfectly ripe red strawberry. We are excited for you all to try the evolution of the West Coast IPA and we sincerely hope you love this one as much as we do!

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: American Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Firestone 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass
Price: $23.00 for a 4-pack
From: North Park Beer Company in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Feb. 25, 2022
Consumed: Feb. 27, 2022
Misc.: Canned on Feb. 1, 2022; Split (1/4) with Sonny (1/4) and Kevin (1/2)
Grabbed four 4-packs of North Park and two from Pure Project. Had this once before, giving a draft pour at 4.00 on Untappd (with Nick) on Feb. 11, and writing “Better than this.” Well, I hope that is true tonight. Poured a medium yellow clear color with three fingers of white frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass, much quicker toward the top. Average foggy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled pretty damn good. Got Mosaic, dank resin, Strata, strawberry, floral, rose blossom, mixed berry, pine, orange peel, tangerine and lingering black pepper, probably from the Chinook. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted just as good as the nose Damn this was good. Got big Mosaic, Strata, dank resin, strawberry, floral, rose blossom, mixed berry, pine, orange peel, tangerine, Chinook and lingering black pepper spice. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, bitter dank finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was just an excellent West Coast IPA and I think I underrated it slightly. Glad I picked up a can. (Overall - 4.25)

Jesus Christ, this beer is stupid good. Like insane. The hop character has intensity, poise. Focus and purpose. Bitter, dank, clean, bright and just brilliant with loads of fruit but so focused that the hops are a coherent blend of bitterness and hops. Just astounding.
