Met Dave H. out for some beers at North Park and ended up splitting three 4-packs. North Park’s website called it “We happily welcome DOUBLE-FU! To the FU! family! This Triple Dry Hopped West Coast Double India Pale Ale features Citra Incognito, Centennial, Simcoe Cryo, Amarillo Lupomax, Mosaic, Strata, and Citra. Poured a pale-to-medium yellow clear color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass, appearing quicker from the bottom. Excellent foggy-to-spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled peach, red grapefruit, fresh pine, black pepper, orange rind, tangerine, strawberry, floral, weed and grass. For the six mentioned hops, Simcoe and Amarillo stood out, followed by Mosaic, Strata and Citra. A little better out of the can with the addition of orange marmalade and unsweetened iced tea. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted a little better than the nose. In order got Simcoe, black pepper, onion, garlic, bitter grapefruit peel, Citra, pine, lime, Centennial, Amarillo, orange rind, strawberry, Strata, weed, grass, floral, orange marmalade, unsweetened iced tea and hints of Mosaic. Pretty smooth for 8.7 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.50)

Was back and forth on a few categories, but this was outstanding at least. I slightly underrated this too. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet tropical and old-school/new-school hoppy, citrus piney, and mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a beautifully balanced, old-school hoppy and piney-dank bitter finish. This is super clean and drinks very easy at this ABV. This reminds me of and drinks like a fresh, lighter-bodied Pliny the Elder...this is delicious!
