To celebrate our 6th anniversary, we created an absolutely face-melting Triple Dry-Hopped Hazy QIPA. This monstrous 13% beer was crafted with pilsner malt and oats for a delightfully thick mouthfeel, before being jam-packed full of Citra, Nelson, Citra Cryo, Peacharine, and Galaxy hops. It sports notes of juicy mango, pineapple, peach, fruit cocktail, and we think it’s nothing short of stellar.

Snuck over to North Park to meet Dave Harkey for some beers and we ended up splitting four 4-packs. North Park’s website called it “To celebrate our 6th anniversary, we created an absolutely face-melting Triple Dry-Hopped Hazy QIPA. Poured a bright light golden hazy color with four fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see some bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding foggy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Citra, grapefruit, pineapple, Nelson, tangerine, papaya, peach, Galaxy, passion fruit, fruit cup, mango, guava and floral. Not quite as good from the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted about as good as the nose. First thing I thought about was how smooth it was for 13 pct. ABV. In order got Citra, grapefruit, pineapple, Nelson, tangerine, peach, papaya, passion fruit, Galaxy, mixed fruit cup, mango, guava and floral. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.75)
Just another fantastic offering from North Park. World-class overall. (Overall - 4.50)

Sweet tropical hoppy, white wine grape, hint of stonefruity citrus, and Nelson-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a beautifully balanced, stonefruity hoppy, hint of orange-tangerine citrus, and hint of earthy hoppy bitter finish! Yum! The booze is well hidden initially when it is cooler...as it warms, though, the 13% ABV starts to rear its head. The mouthfeel on this is really nice...that TDH vibe starts to hit the back of the throat more and more as it warms as well. Overall, this is fantastic! And, will get only better with more time in the can.
