Snuck over to Windmill Farms to pick up some Aurora Hoppyalis and The Lightest One, and a few others single cans. Bine & Vine’s website was “Your eyes may deceive you but your taste buds will not when you take your first sip of our latest DDH West Coast India Pale Ale “Classic Eyez”. Poured a light amber clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy-to-fizzy off-white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides and bottom of the class. Excellent lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Centennial, pine, lime, orange, Columbus, lemon, dish soap, pineapple and grapefruit. Not quite as good from the can but pineapple was standing out. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste definitely reminded me of an old school IPA. Big Centennial, Columbus, dank pine, bitter aspirin, caramel, woody Chinook, lime, orange, lemon, pineapple, grapefruit and black pepper. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an outstanding old school West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.00)

no carb, smells like bubble gum and then the hops hit. a bit over-malty like the sh*t IPAs of yesteryear....
