We teamed up again with our buds in NorCal at Slice Beer Company to bring you our latest TDH Hazy IPA "Blurry Nugs". We riffed off our previous collab beer Blurry Buds to bring you another hazy stunner that is best enjoyed with pals. Hopped with a mind-bending array of Citra, Citra Cryo, Citra Incognito, Bru-1, HBC 586, and Nelson, this one is packed tight with delicious tasting notes of juicy pineapple, ripe orange, bright lime zest, plus some subtle resin dankness on the nose. The last few years have felt like a blur, but I think we can all agree that the times most memorable are the ones spent with Nugs and Buds.

Glass: North Park 400-ml. Rastal Lawrence tumbler glass
Price: $5.50 (I think)
From: Preferred Liquors in Santee, Calif.
Purchased: Oct. 19, 2022
Consumed: Nov. 3, 2022
Misc.: Collaboration with Slice Beer Company; Canned on Oct. 18, 2022
Picked up this beer and a few other North Park/Pure Project bangers to take to beer friends for work trip in Reno. Kept one of these for me. Gave a split can of this a 4.25 on Untappd on Oct. 22. North Park’s website called it “We teamed up again with our buds in NorCal at Slice Beer Company to bring you our latest TDH Hazy IPA “Blurry Nugs”. Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent uneven lacing. Excellent foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled pretty damn good right away. Citra stood out followed by equal amounts of HBC 586 and Nelson. Specifically got pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, orange, dank pine, peach, passion fruit, mango, lime-lemon zest, papaya and floral. Not quite as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted almost as good as the nose, but not quite. In order got big Citra, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, orange pulp, dank pine, HBC 586, passion fruit, peach, mango, guava, Nelson, white grape, viney berry, papaya, lime, lemon, citrus rind and herbal. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Damn. Just an excellent hazy IPA. (Overall - 4.50)

Sweet tropical hoppy, white wine grape, and an orange-tangerine citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a tropical fruity hoppy, lemony-orange citrus bitter finish. The TDH vibes on this are kicking for a single! That hop tingle on the back of the throat becomes more pronounced as it warms. This feels great for a single. This is good stuff!
