Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Mosaic, Strata hops delivering mouthwatering strawberry, banana, dole whip, white gummy bear, and hints of juicy white grape. Huge aromas of orange zest and dank citrus lend to a taste bud coating, full bodied drinking experience with a delicately soft, deliciously dry finish. Fun fact, this is the "hazy" version of Ancient Civilization so make sure you stop in to grab a mixed four pack to try them out side by side and decide once and for all who the winner is, past or future.

Canned 6/24/24.
L: Pours a hazy gold with a big creamy white head that stays like a mother-in-law. Minimal lacing, though.
S: Aromas of orange, peach, and strawberry.
T: Berry fruits up front, then more tropical. Finishes slightly dry but not bitter.
F: Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Silky.
O: Very well-done hazy DIPA from North Park. The flavor profile is more generic than distinct, but still tasty.

Sweet tropical hoppy, white wine grape, orange juicy citrus, and a Mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows exactly with a hoppy-dank bitter finish. The mouthfeel on this one is really nice...I wouldn't call it soft, but it is murky enough to accentuate the hop profile. There is also an extra kick of dankness in the aromatics and on the palate...can't tell if that is from the Mosaic or the Strata. I also noticed that the color is not that appetizing IMO which is not the norm for North Park hazies. I've noticed this with hazies that have Strata in it...maybe that's just me. I definitely like Strata in westies more than hazies...and maybe that is why the westie version of this, Ancient civilization, was much better IMO. Still tasty!

Snuck over to Bine & Vine to specifically pick up this beer. Tried to wait it out at Windmill Farms but never really saw it. And since I heard North Park isn’t doing their mixed 4-pack deal anymore I had to find it before it was gone. Had heard great things about it and even after I got it some more friends rated it high on Untappd. North Park’s website called it “All aboard the Hop-Fu! Express as we prepare you for a hopped up journey to a city of the future. This TDH Hazy DIPA is loaded with Mosaic Cryo, Citra Incognito, Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Mosaic, Strata hops delivering mouthwatering strawberry, banana, dole whip, white gummy bear, and hints of juicy white grape. Huge aromas of orange zest and dank citrus lend to a taste bud coating, full bodied drinking experience with a delicately soft, deliciously dry finish. Really was looking forward to it. NOTE: Gave the Ancient Civilization a 4.21 on July 24. Will be interesting to compare.
Poured a medium yellow-to-light golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled all of the mentioned hops really in the first few sniffs, in order Mosaic, Nelson, Citra and Strata. Also viney mixed berry, bubblegum, strawberry, white grape, pineapple, orange, tangerine, peach and grapefruit. Even better out of the can with Nelson and pineapple standing out. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted so much better than the nose. Wow. This was legit. Once again got all four mentioned hops, in order Mosaic and Nelson a close 1-2, followed by Citra and Strata. Also mixed berry (strawberry standing out), white grape, white gummy bear, bubblegum, pineapple, dank weed, pine, tangerine rind, orange, pear, banana, grapefruit and grass. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 5.00)
Damn this was such a good hazy DIPA. Really world-class and I think I underrated it slightly. (Overall - 4.50)
