The latest in our -cito Imperial Berliner series brings us right into the heart of apricot season! We loaded the fermenter with over 1750 pounds of delicious apricots! The result is bracing tartness, fresh apricot juice, a hint of sweet gummy candy, and peachy/plummy stonefruit goodness — tangy, tart, and totally tasty!

Went to Windmill Farms to grab some stuff for Chad and $113 later I had way too much beer. Bine & Vine’s website described it as “The latest in our -cito Imperial Berliner series brings us right into the heart of apricot season! Poured a light amber semi-hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head, which dissipated quickly. Could see just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled big apricot, peach, nectarine, stone fruit, Tang, tangerine, pineapple and gummi bears. Not as good from the can, actually getting more apricot/peach skin there. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose. Kind of a big dropoff actually. In order apricot, peach, nectarine, stone fruit, Tang, tangerine, pineapple, gummi bear candy, red apple cider and pear. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Pretty damn good overall. Smell was certainly the best part but it was an outstanding beer overall. (Overall - 4.25)
