Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: North Park 400-ml. Rastal Lawrence tumbler (white) glass
Price: $22 for a 4-pack
From: North Park Beer Company in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Dec. 16, 2022
Consumed: Dec. 25, 2022
Misc.: Canned on Dec. 13, 2022; Split (2/4) with Sonny (1/4) and Kevin (1/4)
Went over to North Park after a trip to Pure Project for two more 4-packs here. Back of the can called for a “Triple dry-hopped India Pale Ale with Freestyle Motueka, Hop Kief, Freestyle Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo, Citra, and Citra Cryo.”
Poured a light golden hazy color with four fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see plenty of bubble streams zig-zagging their way up the sides of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Nelson, tangerine, orange peel, pineapple, gooseberry, grapefruit rind, papaya, Citra, Simcoe and hints of the mentioned Motueka. A little better on the nose from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose, maybe even better. In order got Nelson, tangerine, orange peel, Citra, pineapple, gooseberry, grapefruit rind, hints of peach, papaya, Simcoe and the mentioned Motueka. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Excellent overall and I slightly underrated this. Probably the best of the Art Is Hard series so far for me. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet tropical hoppy, orange-tangerine citrus, white wine grape, and hint of lemon citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a tropical hoppy and grapefruit citrus bitter finish....those TDH vibes still hanging on a week and a half after canning date! This feels great on the palate for a single...it drinks like a lighter-bodied DIPA. This is fantastic!
