Collaboration with Resident Culture Brewing.

Test your might with Lightning-Fu! This electrifying collaboration with Resident Culture is an unfiltered West Coast IPA that will teleport your tastebuds to a flavor storm of zesty grapefruit rind, ripe tangerine, and mixed berry notes. We suggest grabbing it while you can, it’ll be gone in a flash.

Went over to North Park after a trip to Pure Project for two more 4-packs here. North Park’s website called this “Test your might with Lightning-Fu! This electrifying collaboration with Resident Culture is an unfiltered West Coast IPA that will teleport your tastebuds to a flavor storm of zesty grapefruit rind, ripe tangerine, and mixed berry notes. We suggest grabbing it while you can, it’ll be gone in a flash.” Back of the can called for Citra Incognito, Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo and Nectaron.

Poured a medium yellow clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of frothy white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent spotty lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled Nectaron, peach, nectarine, passion fruit, papaya, pineapple, Citra Simcoe, pine, grass, lime, black pepper, mango and stone fruit. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.00)

The taste wasn’t nearly as good as the nose. In order got Nectaron, peach, nectarine, stone fruit, papaya, Simcoe, Citra, pine, citrus pulp, lime, dry grass, black pepper, pineapple, passion fruit, mango and floral. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Another solid beer from North Park. Slightly underrated this overall but outstanding at least. (Overall - 4.00)

Grabbed a can from cooler at Cheers. Really nice west coaster. Hoppin’ with plenty of Citra and Simcoe. Yum.
Very attractive golden brew but with a disappointing head that had no real body and immediately disappeared. Some lacing.
Nose soft but inviting. Taste was great. Loved the hop bill. Mouthfeel was top notch. Seriously refreshing but really smooth. Didn’t expect the soft silkiness in a relatively low ABV brew. Perhaps the hold off on filtering.
Overall it was a really enjoyable beer.
