And now we proudly present: TDH Art is Hard. If you enjoy our year-round favorite and award-winning Art is Hard Hazy IPA, then you’ll really love this version. We took one of our classics and turned up the intensity a few notches! Triple dry-hopped with Citra Incognito, Citra Cryo, Citra, Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo, and Motueka hops, this beer offers delightful notes of melon, peach, and lychee. Our brewers just keep churnin' out these hits!

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Firestone 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass
Price: $20.00 for a 4-pack
From: North Park Beer Company in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: June 8, 2022
Consumed: June 11, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date; Split (2/4) with Sonny (1/4) and Kevin (1/4)
Grabbed a 4-pack of this and two others while picking up my BBA Mostra Before Dying bottle. Brought this to a June 10 bottleshare and gave a taster of it a 4.00 on Untappd, writing “Certainly better than regular Art is Hard. Maybe a 4.15.” North Park’s website called it “Triple Dry Hopped Hazy India Pale Ale with Citra, Simcoe and Motueka hops. Batch 50 of our flagship, GABF Silver Medal-winning, Hazy IPA.”
Poured a bright light golden hazy color with three fingers of frothy white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect uneven spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled really good from the beginning. Got Citra, orange juice, tangerine, orange creamsicle, papaya, grapefruit, pineapple, Simcoe, pine, melon and lingering peppery spice. Just as good out of the can with the addition of lemon, lime and herbal. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose but still outstanding. In order got Citra, orange juice, tangerine, orange creamsicle, papaya, melon, grapefruit, pineapple, Simcoe, pine, lingering peppery spice, lemon, lime, herbal and some coconut. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, juicy finish. A little bit of hop burn there. (Feel - 4.00)
Really liked this. Much better than regular Art is Hard. (Overall - 4.25)
