Canned on 6/5/23; consumed on 7/27/23
Pours a turbid, pale gold body capped with two fingers of sudsy, eggshell-white foam; decent head retention yields a sparse few islands of cap, a thin, soapy collar, and no lacing holding with any longevity to the walls of the glass.
Aromas of mango, tangerine zest, and white guava are immediately apparent upfront, with hints of white grape ushering a musty dank creeping in as papaya and lime brighten the back end.
Taste offers lime peel and an underripe guava semi-sweetness, further enhanced by notes of mango pith and glossy white grape iver the mid-palate while subtle, grassy resins fade through the finish.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body and a taut, moderate-low carbonation, dispersing resinous grit and an earthy bittering over the mid-palate as a slick, juicy gloss washes over the back end and through the finish.
The potent, amplified dry-hop is evenly presented, with a welcome earthy counterbalance expressed over juicier subtext; a boggy-dank base with a fruity upside.
