Collaboration with Horus Aged Ales.
For our latest IPA, we teamed up with our good buddy Kyle over at Horus Aged Ales to bring you the majestic DDH West Coast DIPA "Eagle Squadron". This high flyer is migrating a mega payload of dank resin, floral pine, citrusy orange and fruity blueberries direct to your tastbuds courtesy of a gaggle of hops! What are those hops you ask? Well there are bevy of Warrior, Centennial, Citra Cryo, Citra Incognito, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo and Chinook hops! No, you did not read that wrong. Mr. Hop-Fu himself flew with in on the back of his newly acquired squad leader and dropped off another delicious brew for you to enjoy. In the words of our fearless leader, "THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!"

Snuck over to North Park to pick up my BA Macaroons Before Dying beer and a couple other 4-packs. Since it was my birthday, decided to have a pint. Went with this one, which I somehow hadn’t had yet. Was a collab with Horus Aged Ales. Poured a medium yellow-to-almost light golden clear color with two fingers of frothy white head when I got it. Just a few bubbles on the top of the glass. Almost perfect foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Mosaic stood out on the nose. Also blueberry, pine, dank resin, Simcoe, Citra, grapefruit rind, floral and grass. Not as good as it went down but still smelled great. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. Got Mosaic, blueberry, pine, dank resin, black pepper, Simcoe, grapefruit rind, Citra, lemon, floral, grass and papaya. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)
I slightly underrated this overall but this was an excellent West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.25)
