Canned on 7/17/23; consumed on 8/9/23
Pours an opaque, straw-gold body capped with just over two fingers of sudsy, white foam; decent head retention leaves a slight layer of cap, modest, frothy collar, and limited spattering of spotty lacong strewn around the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to mango sorbet and dank cantaloupe, with hints of white pepper and red berries feeding a lemon cream overtone as boggy moss undertones linger through tones of papaya peel and lychee gummies as the bouquet fades.
Taste finds white gummies and wet grass developing upfront into mango zest and papaya through the mid-palate as white peach skins are overwrought with boggy texturing on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel features a medium body and carbonation on the lower end of moderate, with taut, dry textures capped with slick resins through the mid-palate yielding a distant touch of bittering through the back end before cleaning steadily to a semi-creamy close.
Pointed diversity in expression presents floral resins soaking in an almost boggy, tropical stank, flush with coy bittering and richly juicy hop variance.
