Grabbed this on a recent trip to North Park Beer Company. Untappd description was “The Disciples of Fu! Masters of Mosaic is the next iteration in a series of single-hopped beers featuring the hops used to make Hop-Fu! We’re returning back to Mosaic to bring a whole new level of hop mastery. Loaded with notes of ripe blueberry, juicy mango, and tropical guava, this single-hop stunner will kick you right in the tastebuds and leave your palate stunned.”
Poured a pale-to-medium yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy-to-fizzy off-white head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent spotty-to-foggy lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled big Mosaic, Juicy Fruit, mango, guava, blueberry, floral, grapefruit peel, tangerine rind and hints of earthy pilsner malt. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got big Mosaic, mango, guava, tangerine rind, orange citrus, grapefruit peel, Juicy Fruit gum, blueberry, floral and grass. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Soft carbonation. Abrupt, slightly bitter finish. (Feel - 4.75)
This was just about as good as I thought it would. Excellent. (Overall - 4.25)
