Dubs Golden Lager is produced by Magnolia, in proud partnership with the Golden State Warriors, to be enjoyed courtside, in select local pubs or your own living room. A unique combination of German and American hops gives just a swish of aroma to this easy-drinking lager. Like a Warriors game, it is something worth experiencing more than once.

I am trying a pint of this beer off the tapper at Union Street Pub in the United Airlines terminal at San Francisco Airport. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright crisp malt base and prominent grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

19.2 oz can ($3.99 A-Z City spirits) best 11 Dec 2022 juice glass
A- A clean golden-straw body is loaded with carbonation and topped with 1-1/2 fingers of white foamy head. The head settles to a substantial foam with wide foamy rings left on the glass.
S- Classic Pilsner (in my estimation). Bready, doughy, cracker malts mix with herbal/spicy/grassy hops. Clean and fresh.
T- Hmm. A little more vegetal than the aroma suggests. Hopping is more floral and fruity too. Saltine crackers. Berries. Some lighter leafy and herbal hops toward the end, but it still finishes a little sweet (doughy and cooked veggies).
M- Medium-light body. Lots of carbonation. Crisp, even with the sweeter flavor profile.
O- Meh. Glad I gave it a shot. It has a fun logo and naming tie-in with the Golden State Warriors. When in SF I suppose. I don’t think I’d order this one, but I could see it doing the job on a warm day when served super cold.
