Poured from a pint can, the body is a slightly faded yellow with a large white fluffy head. The lacing is scant.
Aroma is an earthy pine with a bit of citrus and light floral notes.
Flavor is quite different than the nose. A malt bill balances the hops. The aroma flavors are present but muted. Overall the flavor has pine, but not as vivid as aroma, and dank. Things quickly dry up leaving a light bitterness that slowly trails off.
Mouthfeel is very good. After letting the chill come off the can, the warmed beer is soft. Carbonation good.
A tasty session beer that sacrifices no flavor

Can purchased and drank at The Alchemist in Stowe, VT.
This one pours a very slightly hazy golden orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like pine, grapefruit peel, resinous hops, and floral hips.
This is called Kiss of Dank, but the dankness so to speak feels stronger than just a light kiss. It’s resinous, piney, and floral, with a thirst quenchingly bitter finish to it – zesty, with a nice bite. There’s a touch of grapefruit and orange, but refreshing bitterness is the name of the game here.
This is lighter bodied, but super crisp and clean – it straddles the line of high bitterness without being astringent.
I’ve been drinking the Alchemist for over a decade now, so it’s still fun to discover new beers from them that I love.

16oz can dated 8/27/25.
Pours hazy gold with an inch of white head.
Moderate retention and lacing. Piney and dank in the nose. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Grapefruit and earthy pine on the palate. Finishes bitter and a bit pithy with minimal malt.

16oz can, undated but purchased fresh, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 08.29.2024, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a very hazy, golden orange color, fluffy white head, nice retention and lacing. The aroma is great, dank weed, pine, grass clippings, herbal tea, wildflower, fruity yeast, grapefruit citrus and pale dough. The flavors offer that same dankness, super earthy hop, green, piney, resinous, weedy, grapefruit zest, bright floral character, some fruity hop, hearty pale dough, sweet yeast, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively, medium bodied with a smooth but very dry finish.
Verdict: A nice IPA from The Alchemist. Dank, green, earthy bitter, yet spots of brightness and fruitiness that round it off well. Definitely a kiss of dank.

16oz can served in a willibecker. Pours a pale orange hue with a tight, half-inch, bright white head. Clarity is hazy. Nose is as suggested by the label - dank. Herbaceous with a trace of the malt bill in the background. Taste follows nose - malt profile nicely balances the dank, which lingers between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light-medium (closer to medium than one would expect given the abv) with an assertive carbonation. Overall, a nice alternative to the ubiquitous NEIPA.

Tasters Choice thanks for sharing Mike.
Lightly hazy light golden color with a decent bubbly white head that persists. Certainly is dank, but also has some sweet fruity notes. Lower abv reduces the body a bit, but this is a fantastic sessionable beer!

Drank from the can.
Smells like hops. That sounds lazy but smell the beer for yourself. Citrusy, piney, bitter, dank.
Lots of citrus and bitter piney hops follow the nose. Sticky. Aptly named beer, indeed.
Feel is typical of Alchemist beers. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Very dry finish.
Overall, I love this beer. It drinks like an 8% hop bomb but is packaged into a neat little 5.1% session IPA.
