This is a very interesting imperial stout that imparts notes of bourbon despite never being bourbon barrel aged. Fairly sweet, chewable and with very light natural carbonation. A true treat.

16oz can at the brewery for $12. Ouch.
Pours oily, opaque black. Minimal retention or lacing. Rich chocolate and roast in the nose. Full bodied with a slick, chewy mouthfeel. Straightforward old-school RIS on the palate. Chocolate, roast, espresso undertones. Finishes with faint warmth and lingering chocolate.
Tasty but not worthy of the price tag.
