A delicious beer that pours a gorgeous red color from the can. Notes of cherry mingle incredibly well with the barrel-aged flavors. A beer that is high in alcohol but that is also very easy to drink. An instant favorite for anyone who enjoys this flavor palette.

A wonderful barrel-aged strong ale with a decadent cherry taste. Notes of brandy flavor can be found in this beer.
It pours a deep red color with a short head that does not stay long. This beer was served in a can at the brewery.
One of the best American Strong Ales I have ever had. It reminds me of both homemade brandy and a quality Kriek beer from Belgium combined. Truly a one of a kind beer.

No date on can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch pinkish tan head over a deep red body with no lacing and head is gone after a few minutes.
Nose of cherry, alcohol, and a bit of oak.
Taste is mostly cherry with booze and oak present.
Nicely tart with a slightly boozy finish.
Quite delicious!
By the looks of the pour, it has a surprising mouthfeel with near medium carbonation.
Overall, a most excellent offering from the crew at The Alchemist, and most worthy of a drive to Stowe to try it!!
Cheers!!!
