a fine lager but not among their more memorable beers for me, just sort of fills the cold wettie role, without really contributing a whole lot new or exciting to the conversation, but the overall quality is pretty good, and i suppose i like this having a little more body and malt character than a lot of its peers, although at the end of the day it could be cleaner, brighter, and drier to max out on the refreshment value aspect. blonde and simple looking, excited carbonation but just a short white head, and good clarity. it smells and taste the same, slight toasted or even nutty character and pils malt earthiness, crackery, brassy minerality, a mostly proper lager yeast complexion but its not quite as dry and snappy as id like it to be on the back end, and the hops are quite light the whole way, a little bit herbal to me, but bitterness is low and the actual hop flavor is subtle at best. there is a strong mineral profile to this, edging a little metallic as it warms up, and some faint soapy phenols too suggesting a slightly stressed fermentation. overall though this is mild and pleasant, if less of an outright pounder than expected for the style and abv. good beers coming out of this place across the board, and this is probably the most approachable of them. nothing special, but it wets the whistle...

16oz can from Derek. Clear, pale golden pour, fizzy white head. Grainy, bready aroma. Taste is bready, mildly sweet, creamy. Really full bodied. Solid lager

16 oz. can from American Market ( used to be Capital Market), in Salem OR
$2.79
Pours the typical light gold clear coloured body..the head is pretty nice and this does have lacing.
Aroma doughy malts and a touch of floral hops. really simple. But not bad.
Balanced taste..but turns sweetish in the end.
Mouth feel is fine..low carbonation for an American lager and finishes sour dough.
An OK lager for the summer..but they used t be capable of so much more
