Deep ember hue with minimal head - certainty not tradional for the style, but not a deal breaker. Aroma is very floral - it's brewed with hibiscus & green tea, and those notes certainly shine through. The taste profile isn't what you'd expect from a saison - it's more reminiscent of a Berliner weisse or other tart beer. It has a mild tartness upfront, and brings with it those hibiscus and (especially) the green tea flavors. I would disagree with style classification, but overall it's a good beer - light & bouncy with some interesting taste combos.
