Just a hint of peaches and apricots in the aroma and flavor of this slightly sweet blonde ale.

Clear, light gold, negligible head. Not an impressive looking beer. Smells footlike and cheap, but with a decent amount of fruit in there at least. Tastes fresh and mild at first, then bursts in with some hops and mellows out into a deliciously balanced though sweet aftertaste. Feels good.

Mildly fruity aroma, apricot is detectable along with a general fruit aroma. Perhaps a bit of hops. Tall white head from a vigorous pour goes away quickly, leaving lacing, receding to a ring and cap. Golden clear color with some carbonation visible. Obvious fruit in the taste. Apricot again initially and carrying through to the finish. Mildly bitter in the middle and aftertaste, but just enough to provide balance. The fruit taste is pleasant and natural. I don't get much peach, specifically, but the apricot is definitely there. Crisp finish. As I stated, mild bittering is present in the middle and aftertaste, but it is hardly anything remotely dominating. Since "fruit beer" is a bit of a catch-all style, I rated this one on the nature of the fruit plus how well it fulfills the brewer's stated target of a "patio beer." In that latter regard, crisp, refreshing, and low ABV. Spot on, IOW.

Very foamy pour. Nice dark yellow semi-clear. Retains heavy lacing. But way over hopped for this genre. Hopps over power any fruit smell or taste. Very bitter finish. Nice try. Less hopps maybe would help. Would drink again, but only in a sampler pack.
