Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt copper to orange color with a quaint little white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Sly lacing. The aroma started off with a tart to sweet pear-like nose flowing into some low key malt base. Light citrus and a subtle lemongrass at the end. The flavor leaned towards the sweet side from a nice blend of the pear to the citrus to the sweet side of the lemongrass. Barely any bitterness but a rounded tartness comes out to evenly flow into the aftertaste and ride on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable trait running all about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt spot on. Overall, very nice saison that I would love to have again preferably in the Summer.
