A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a finger high bright white head that left lots of thick rings of bubbles down the sides of the glass and a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of orange citrus hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of pine towards the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and rather juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite sessionable and packed with lots of hoppy aromas and flavors.
Serving type: can

Draught shaker pint at Tankhouse. Nose pops, but that's where the good elements end for my palate and preferences. Taste way less dynamic than the nose, and a mouthfeel that's thin by standard pale ale metrics (let alone a hazy one). One and done for me.

Pale, straw yellow; cloudy; thick, sticky and billowy white head; rings and globs of foam adhere to the glass. Fresh notes of lime and grapefruit; pines resin; orange. Bready malt and tart citrus flavors; excellently balanced hop bitterness. Medium body; dry and acidic on the palate.
Just when my palate is getting burned out on cloudies and hazies (and they're not my favorite style anyway), along comes an example that reminds me of the potential and appeal of this style of beer. Fresh and refreshing with excellent balance and depth.

16 oz can
Pours hazy lemon golden, white lacing for a head.
Smells of light citrus over grassy and cereal malts.
Flavor is of citrus, cereal, lemongrass, and very mild grassy malts.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Decent pale ale. Flavor is fine. Drinks easy. Worth a try.

$ 8.49 (Including shipping)/16 oz can ($ 0.531/oz) from Tavour, Seattle, WA. Reviewed 5/13/19.
“SIZE DOESN’T MATTER 03/25/19” stamped on bottom of can. Stored at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.5.
First pour – Light yellow, hazy, translucent.
Body – Light yellow, hazy, opaque.
Head – Large (Maximum 7.7 cm, aggressive center pour), white, low density froth, average retention, diminishing to a jagged seven to fifteen mm frothy crown with a heaped partial cap. Multiple thin pieces of three-dimensional foam dot the interior of the glass.
Lacing – Excellent. Three-dimensional bands of tiny to medium bubbles, connected by thin columns. See also above.
Aroma – 4 – Grapefruit, pine. These are initially moderate in strength and slowly fade into nothingness.
Flavor – 4.5 – Begins mildly bitter with blended citrus and pine, so that both are present yet neither dominates. Ends slightly chalky. No alcohol (5.5% ABV), no dimethylsulfide, no diacetyl.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, almost creamy, soft carbonation.
Impression and interpretation – 4.5 - The back of the can has “The Brewer’s Recipe” as well as naming the originator of the recipe, both nice touches. The can itself is attractively labeled with cones and boughs. Overall, a very attractive brew, both visually and aromatically. The flavors and palate harmonize as well, making this a flavorful and comforting drinking experience.

16oz can served in a pint glass. 3/25/19.
Pours hazy light yellow with a big head and plenty of carbonation. Smell is tropical and grassy.
Taste is piney, hoppy, maybe somewhat herbal -- most of the tropical fruitiness seems to be lacking. Still, nice and refreshing.
Mouthfeel is dry and light. Overall, solid beer.

L: Hazy yellow-gold. Frothy white head with great lacing and retention.
S: Grassy and Piney with tropical fruits.
T: Piney and green, less tropical on the tongue than citrus. Chalk dust.
F: Dusty but creamy, lightweight and drier.
O: Certainly good but not their best show here. It is well put together but less what I expect from Bare.
