A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving some lacing on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of gooseberry are present in the nose along with hints of grapefruit, lime and watermelon.
T: The taste has flavors of pear and stone fruit with notes of grapefruit and mango and some hints of candy and pine in the finish. The hops only contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The smell and taste of this IPA are both rather complex. The beer does a rather good job at hiding nearly all of the alcohol from the taste.

510ml bottle served in a big snifter. Dated 09-02-20.
Pours a hazy light amber color with little head and light carbonation. Smell is pineapple.
Taste is pineapple juice with a little hint of resinous bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium and somewhat effervescent. Overall, it's pretty good, but pretty one-note.

Sweet, citrus-juicy, slightly yeasty tropical hoppy nose! Taste follows well with a smooth and moderate citrus bitterness. It has good, not great depth and feel for 9.2% ABV. Not too boozy and well-balanced...another banger from Barebottle!

L: The beer pours with a light orange body that is quite murky. The head formation is strong, with about two fingers of it in a standard tulip on a non-aggressive pour. The retention is relatively typical, as is the lacing.
S: This beer is pretty aromatic, even in style, and notes of citrus and pine hit you immediately after popping the cap off. Pine wanes fairly quickly after pouring, and there is a hint of yeast in the smell. Minimal to no alcohol on the nose, which I think is a definite plus for 9+% DIPA.
T: This beer is primarily hopped with Citra, and it shows up in all of the typical Citra flavors: orange, mango, melon, etc. There’s a certain amount of bitterness on the back end. The taste is not blowing me away by any means, but there isn’t much wrong with it either.
F: The body on this beer is medium in weight and mouthfeel. The carbonation is medium-low, about typical for the style. Slight alcohol warming as the beer sits in the glass.
O: This is a well-executed heavy NE DIPA, and it does well enough in all the standard BA categories. I’m glad to have tried. However, given the $9 price, I hardly see myself buying a second bottle.
