Interesting that the recipe is on the label. As for this AIPA, less interesting... but then I'm no fan of the style. Looks and Smells the part, but just above average. Tastes and mouth are back to interesting as grains other than barley come into play and almost is chewy... unusual for AIPAs.

Glad that I went on Barebottle's website as I do not recall seeing so many beautiful photos of a style I do not like. They also have a beautiful taproom and ancillary rooms. Their whole vibe with training home brewers and the brewers' colony in that former working class SF neighborhood and the Bay Area culinary scene... it all makes for a good feeling that there is good life, despite their being a con-man in the White House and mostly crooks in Congress. And for that, I give Barebottle some serious Overall Hugs.

Hazy yellow body. Moderate lacing. Light pineapple, pine, stone fruit, grass, green tea, vanilla.

2 row, wheat , and oat malt give this a slightly hazy chewy flavor.
