Color is hazy yellow in color. Head is white and fairly thin and it disappeared quickly. Lots of carbonation. Nose is pineapple and grapefruit as is the taste. Nice bitterness left over, and it fades to a gentle bitterness.

L: LIghter orange. Hazy but transluscent - letting more light through than most. Two fingers of beige foam on top with good retention and a dashed line for lace.
S: Orange candy, lemon drops, and a a little dank green onion. The previous can hit me with Peach-O's but this one seems more dank and bitter.
T: Follows the nose with a little passionfruit also. The green component is more umame/nori in nature on the palate.
F: Juicy and dry. I like it!
O: I didn't really find the pineapples that decorated the can, maybe a touch of the underripe, but in this way I don't think we got a true expression of the strata hop. I do love the dryness and overall balance of this one. The sum greater than it's parts.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 08/17/20.
Pours a hazy pale yellow. Smallish head. Smell is pineapple. Hop resin.
Taste is following the same notes. Pineapple, tropical juice, hop resin.
Mouthfeel is medium, kind of gritty. Overall, not bad.

This is a disappointing brew from Barebottle. I love the experimental brews they create, but this one tastes like burnt kerosine. I probably should try real jet fuel to see if they were able to capture the taste, but I’d rather not. Thumbs down!

Definitely liking this hop blend of Chinook, Strata, and Citra. Bright, fragrant tropical & citrus fruit notes with a nice complementary blend of hoppy dank notes that don't weigh it down. Smooth, easy med/light feel. One of Barebottle's best regular hazies.
