Farmhouse is our house saison, brewed using a crisp, wheaty malt bill. The Belgian yeast takes centre stage providing peppery, clove and banana-like esters. The perfect refreshment after a hard day's work.

Copenhagen 2/6 2026. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. A little farmhouse and yellow fields of crops against and light blue sky on the can.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and malty odor mingling with a tart scent. Sweet pale malts and a whiff of ripe oranges. Citrus and tart currants.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Tart and dry summer beer.

This is a very good saison for a brewer who makes their living on PAs and Stouts. With 1920 Check-ins on UnTappd, this Saison ranks 21st in Vibrant's impressive portfolio of 288 brews listed.
Much of this saison seems authentic, particularly the way its yeast works malt into fruit and provides some Peppa; allowing this to be a somewhat spicy saison at only 18 IBU. Farmhouse Looks average, not much foam or lace. But it Smells better with apples and bananas in front nose. Tastes are balanced. Medium-mouthed almost, could use a few more bubbles. Refreshing. Paired well with mediterranean street food. Well done.
My first from Vibrant Forest, I went on their website and see that they now pushing 14 years, having started in a garage and now with a good crew and dedicated following (120% more repeats on UnTappd than Uniques.) Vibrant focuses on natural and bio brews. They do good things in their community midway between London and Plymouth. Vibrant deserves the high Overall Hugs I've just given them. I will look for their brews again.
