Poured from 500mL bottle into a dimpled mug. Bottled 9/27/21.
Appearance: rich medium-golden hue with a totally clear body and a thin layer of frothy ivory foam atop. Not too bad, though the head's a little thin.
Smell: lightly sweet, lightly malty aroma, with a soft lager-yeasty character. It's rather light, but well-composed.
Taste: a bit sweet up front; malt has a slight toast to it and there's no shortage of bitterness at the end. It's nice, though.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: this beer seems very well-made, and it's pretty crushable considering its somewhat high bitterness. It's not really complex in any way, but it's clean and very drinkable.
