Canned on 4/5/23; consumed on 5/15/23
Pours a turbid, nuclear dark-gold body capped with multiple fingers of dense, fluffy, white foam; great head retention leaves a finger and a half of cap, large, frothy collar, and myriad layering of chunky, ringed lacing encircling the walls of the glass.
Aromas of dank limeade and sticky Juicy Fruit gum ease to tones of swampy cream of wheat, extending over time into papaya rind and subtler, brighter strawberry on the back end of the bouquet.
Taste features musty bubblegum into strawberry, with pink grapefruit and cream of wheat on the mid-palate proceeding to earthier tones of wet grass as edges of mango sorbet mark a slight sweetness on the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body and an airy puff of moderate carbonation, dispersing a wispy grit into juicy resins as slick, effortless textures cross the mid-palate; pseudo-creamy is cut with a distant twang lastingly invigorating past the swallow.
An undemanding display of robust hop complexity pronouncing wispy, dank transitions across a slyly executed profile of twangy citrus and sweeter tropical resin.

Pours cloudy orange color with a 1-2 finger thick beige colored head that faded slowly and left nice thick rings of lacing as it went down. Smells of tangerine, orange peel, ripe grapefruit, lemon zest, citrus hops, fresh cut flowers, mild peppery spices and biscuit. Tasted as good as it smelled but came off as dank with fresh, ripe citrus fruit, while remaining as smooth as all the other Root + Branch IPA's I've add. This was picked up fresh from the brewery and it had near perfect levels of carbonation and drinkability.
