There are days when it is believed that the brewers are on weed. Then there's others when it is believed that they are on bath salts. Today is one of the later as the palate embarks upon a lager with peaches, tomatos, basil, balsamic and Himalayan salt.
Pouring a pale and keller-like hazy gold, The Count of Tuscany startles the senses with a gently rolling scent of Italian herb, tomato and soft brine with a quick and thirst quenching splash of beer-flavored beer. Wafer-like with fresh backed bread and a dash of powdered sugar brings a modestly sweet taste with an herbal follow through of fresh basic and pizza sauce. A low-lying bitterness rests on the finish for a tepid balance and a brisk spiciness.
All in all, they probably just dropped a bunch of Rolling Oven's pizzas into the bright tanks as the lager was patiently finishing up.
