Whoever said that blond is basic certainly has a bone to pick with the brewers at Mirror Twin, or better yet- a pepper to pick.
Their Pineapple Express comes with a lightly cloudy, glowing golden pour. As its frothy white cap settles, the scent of tropical fruit, light citrus, bread and floral spice abound. As its sweetness coats the palate with a hint of cereal, honey and breadiness, the hops bring a balance of orange peel, grapefruit and spruce. A slow and simmering warmth from chili peppers keep the session lively and racy but never interferes with the blonde's balance. All wrapped in a cocoon of pineapple and the sweet and sassy session is complete.
Medium bodied and trending on the lighter side of taste, this blonde ale is an express ticket to refreshment and drinkability.
