Extra Pale Ale eh?
Well, Phantom Shore looks the park of a classic Pilsner moreso. Bright and shiny straw gold with polished clarity and a thin white foamy head.
Smells quite lovely. A squirt of lemon covering up a slightly "catty" aroma.
Flavor is very mild, mostly consisting of watered down lemon and lime.
This is exceptionally light and easy to drink. Watery and lacking in carbonation makes it go down way too quickly. The strong lack of bitterness hardly suggest "extra Pale".
As a beer, this is a thirst quenching summer pounder and a good one at that. But once again, as an Extra Pale Ale, this hardly hits those marks.
