History has taught us you can't go wrong with the new school classics. This hazy IPA will fill your beak with a plethora of Citra and Nelson Sauvin for a truly tropical trip.

Headed over the Windmill Farms to see what new stuff they had and came across three new Ruse beers. Nice to see Ruse beer make its way into the San Diego market. Gave Star Senders right before a 3.97. Saw the March 2 COD, but wanted some anyway so had to have it right away. Online description was “History has taught us you can't go wrong with the new school classics. Poured a light-to-medium hazy color with two fingers of frothy white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Smelled Nelson, gooseberry, Citra, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, white grape, floral and some peppery spice. Much better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted a tad better than the nose. In order got Nelson, pine, gooseberry, pineapple, grapefruit rind, tangerine, orange peel, earthy malt, Citra, papaya, mango, white grape, floral and some lingering spice. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)

This one grew on me. Outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)
