A 2020 bottled cellared almost 3 years. Pale bright yellow murky body, white cap and trace lacing. Nose is simpler compared to the taste: pear, white grape, bright oak, light funk star, faint bourbon, and wheaty hay support. Taste has stronger bourbon, but still a supporter that pokes through here and there, stars includes apple, lemon, funk, bright oak, pear and floral yeast, slight wheat lingers with rustic funk and zest. Thinner but still sour and funky body with a kiss of acidity, bright.

 

 

 

 

 

From a corked and caged bottle, pours a light straw color, slightly hazy. Tiny bit of carbonation evident on popping the cork, with a thin line of bubbles atop the beer. Smell is a complex combination of lemony fruit, earthy funk and a hint of barrel. Taste follows. So good!
