Hazed dark orange, with churning effervescence, and a large off-white head that very quickly fizzes away into a pencil-thin crown.
Wood, funk, peach skins and white wine grapes in the nose.
Very tart tasting with many of the same elements from the aroma: wood, funk and a fruity, white-wine finish. Strong acidity, but enough else going on to keep things interesting.
A nice, medium bodied and somewhat slick feel is undercut by aggressive carbonation.
I do like the riesling component of this one, but the carbonation detracts from the whole experience, IMO.
