Pours a small fizzy bubbly head with lower retention, touch of lacing, hazy cloudy pale orange color
Nose brings nice lambic funk, some Brett barnyard funk, souring bacteria, fair lactic and possibly acetic acid, some wet hay and straw farmhouse, some buttery and vanilla oak, a little white wine chardonnay character, some lemony fruit, fair plum character as well, and a little peachy stone fruit interestingly, despite all the funk it's smooth
Taste comes on quite sour but not overly, big lactic and acetic acid tartness, with fair Bretty barnyard funk and lots of souring bacteria funk, a little cheesy funk even, farmhouse grassy wet hay character as well, lots of fruit, nice juicy plum, again that peachy stone fruit and even apricot like, some lemony sour funk, a bit of grapefruit citrus, and a little more of the white wine Chardonnay like that leads to more buttery oak, and some vanilla, again nice deep funk but at the same time somewhat mellowed and smooth, drier but flemmy acidic finish
Mouth is med bod, big tart sour acidity, a bit flemmy, med-higher slight effervescent carb
Overall where the hell did this come from? This was awesome! I need to try more from this brewery, and save a few of these bottles as well

Pours a hazy, pink-tinted orange with a fat finger of creamy-looking, tan-tinted head. Good retention and minimal lacing.
Light must, wood, plum and sour in the aroma.
Delicate mix of tartness, sourness, sweetness and funk in the taste: plum, wood, green apple skins. Lightly funky, lightly woody, drying finish.
Creamy, light-to-medium-bodied feel with soft carbonation fizz.
Really well-balanced beer that hits all the right notes while showing restraint.

Thank you thebeers for this
750 ml bottle, bottled on 1/18/19, poured into a flute
A- A hazy golden orangish color with a small white head.
S- Sour, plums, plum skins, oak, slightly earthy funk.
T- Sour, lemons, plums, oak, hints of herbal tea, earthy funk, just enough fruit skin from the plums.
M- Smooth, light body, fairly dry.
O- A great plum lambic and I feel this can hold it’s own against many Belgian lambics.
