Lightly foggy at first, but pretty thickly hazy if the sediment gets poured, the color is pale amber to pastel peachy red through that progression. The head is fuzzy white but dies quickly.
A uniquely toasty, almost toffee malt meets funky, seedy and exceedingly tart strawberry before the caramelly, almost molassesy rum barrel brings us to the finish.
It's a unique first couple of sips, but a difficult beer to finish.
