375 mL bottle. Pours clear golden. Smells of anise and vanilla, mostly. Some dried grass and oak. Tastes of light lime tartness, some grain, then anise. Lots of anise. Medium light. At first, I was fascinated. I've never had a beer quite like it. But the anise is quite strong and begins to dominate the flavor. In the end, a novelty for being weird, though what I get out of the base beer seems fine.
