Appearance: A cloudy yellow body that shows steady carbonation that produced a single finger head that did not lace or retain.
Smell: Wheat malt, mild citrus and a touch of cloves. Warming doesn't really help it out, but it has plenty of potency.
Taste: Starts with a mild wheat malt with a solid citrus presence that seemlessly takes over as clove and corriander notes come forward to even out the experience. Not overly exciting, but solid and well executed.
Mouthfeel: The carbonation is solid and the transistioning is very well done. The mild citrus and light herbal notes for the aftertaste. Its very well done, but the lack of head is disappointing.
Drinkability: Refreshing, light bodied and easy on the system. Crisp, with plenty of flavour, and easy to drink. It is a bit mild, but it's just all around well executed.
Final Thoughts: This beer isn't one of those knock your socks off kind of wheat beers, but it's certainly an all around well executed example of the style and really the perfect summer drinker.
