Pours murky, dark tan in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is big brown bread and brown sugar. Medium body, low carbonation, sweet. Ok for the style. I am good with one.

(500 ml bottle, best by 13 10 2018... purchased cold at Polish deli... poured into a large mug)
L: actually a little bit of foam on the pour, somehow maintains a thin collar... crystal-clear, brown ale shade of color... actually some sediment in bottom of bottle
S: smells like pumpernickel crust, dark toasted grain; very bready, little apparent sweetness... less brown ale-like compared to the other product of theirs I've tried; more on the bready side
T: definite molasses, extra dark caramel flavor up front; finish is at first somewhat dry at the back of the palate, dark sugars with a delicate brown licorice note, lingering hints of toasty dark bread crust... delicate, melanoidin-edged bitterness
L: lightly carbonated, dry finish; residual, mildly chewy texture in the middle which lingers... not much roundness or slick viscosity to the body; seems like a little more carbonation would be desirable, lighten it up more
O: relative dryness and more bready flavors stand out... might prefer this one to their other offering, though both just as refreshing

Contract brewed by an unidentified Lithuanian brewery for Vitafan. Imported by Adamba Imports Intl. Inc., Brooklyn, NY.
Poured into a large mug, it has a dark reddish amber color and bright clarity. A finger of foam that sticks around for a good while and leaves behind lacing, don't see that much with Kvass.
Aroma is ok, some raisin and prunes, sweet wort, multigrain bread, sweet raisin cookies.
Taste is a bit raisiny sweet up front, but malty and bready in the middle with a lingering toasty aftertaste. Definitely more of a natural barley and rye malt background once the sweetness quickly fades. Somewhat thin with lower carbonation, seems less like soda due to the all natural ingredients and no artificial preservatives. Though it's a commercial Kvass, it has some similar traits to the few natural "home-brewed" examples i've tried from Russian/Lithuanian bakeries.
Worth a try if you see it at a Polish deli.
