Pours hazy straw gold with an orangey tint. Small white head recedes quickly to a collar, but does leave some sticky lacing.
Very aromatic with big notes of tangerine and clementine rind, grapefruit, overripe mango, honeysuckle, and some sweet b ready malt.
The flavor is citrus, slightly dank, and pretty boozy. Not quite as much tropical fruit as in the nose. A bit grassy and earthy.
Medium to full mouth feel with fairly high carbonation. Finishes somewhat dry, with a pretty big booze punch.
Overall this is quite good. With some iteration to bump up the fruit flavors and dial back the booziness this could be world class!

From a fresh growler, pours a bright, glowing orange with a finger of white, frothy foam. Hazy, nearly opaque. Good bit of lacing, more than you usually see at this ABV.
Smell is tangerine, mango, earthy herbs. A bit of crackery malt as it warms. Taste is big on citrus and tropical fruits, along with some spicy, peppery, resinous notes. Moderately bitter finish. I get no hint of alcohol.
Feel is a smooth medium-minus, super crushable.
This is a superb IIPA. Really impressive, so happy to have found it.

Amazingly tasty Double (triple?) IPA from Troon. Pours orange and hazy. Big citrusy aroma. Taste is basically that big, dry-hopped citrus flavor that really hits the nail on the head. Over the top in the best way. Really want more of this but I have to wait for next weekend. So far I'm very impressed with Troon.
