Crowler dated 11/28/2018. Poured into Belgian tulip.
Look is dark red medium haze with a pink head. Nose is huge raspberry plus a smidge of lemon sour and citrus, really just adds a tart feel to the raspberry though. Taste is all raspberry bomb up front and through the middle, then lemon rind and tartness coming through in the end and through a medium tart finish and fruity sweet finish from the lactose combining with the raspberry, lingering raspberry afterward. Mouthfeel is medium but feels thicker than some non-lactose sours with how the lactose rounds out the tartness with a bit of sweetness. Overall delicious raspberry bomb up front but actually has some added complexity too with the lemon citrus coming through. Also absolutely no alcohol coming through, which is both dangerous and delicious. Really just the usual great stuff from Troon.
