Crowler filled on 2/12/24; consumed on 10/1/24
Pours a turbid, milky lemon hue capped with multiple cascading, creamy fingers of white foam; good head retention leaves a half-finger of wavy cap, modest, frothy collar, and an ample array of soapy, spotty/webby lacing spattered around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of creamy lemon trend floral, inviting notes of grapefruit, passionfruit, and peach pith developing into lusher, undertones of citrus zest and resinous, mossy accents.
Taste brings passionfruit and hints of dragonfruit upfront, with prickly resins and sweet mango edges growing past the mid-palate while a wheaty tinge finds grapefruit smoothie and lime sorbet counterbalance on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body and a subtle fluff of moderate carbonation, endlessly creamy in texture while sporting a subliminal pang of earthy bittering coated in juicy overtones as a bright twang closes.
Resolute intensity persists as waves of resinous detailing dominate; your standard, densely expressive Troon hoppy ale.

From a crowler canned 2/12/24, purchased at the brewery and opened today, 2/14. Beer presents a very hazy, milky bright yellow-gold with green highlights. Big white head leaves thick lacing. Smell begins with grapefruit, pineapple and passionfruit, transitioning to green, grassy herbal notes. Taste follows. Nice green hop bite in the finish, with a pleasant drying bitterness. Wow.
