Fractal Citra pours a hazy-straw yellow releasing aromas of bright tropical passion fruit, pineapple, lychee, and hint of mango (complex). The taste is resinous pineapple juice with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a firm but rounded bitterness. The medley of characteristics makes the name “Fractal Citra” warranted indeed.

Bought a can of this beer at a local grocery store. Bright golden yellow color with thick foamy head and great lacing. Citrus smell and taste. Orange, lime and pineapple. Nice pillowy feel. Overall pretty good but flavor lacking a bit.

Pours a golden orange with an opaque haze to the transparency. Head is two fingers of off-white foam. Aroma is papaya, grapefruit, tangerine, and full on herbal and resin. Despite the tropical fruit notes being listed first, this leans into grassy and herbal notes the most. Flavor profile follows. Tropical fruits are present, but second to herbal, grassy, and faint resin. Not really sugary. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a fuzzy, near-creamy texture. Overall, interesting. Not tropical fruit heavy, nor overly sweet. Those herbal/grassy notes hit well.
Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a good-sized, white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of fresh cut grass, citrus, caramel and toffee. Spicy, piney hops with orange, grapefruit and sweet caramel.

Built around the most coveted and popular hop variety on the planet, Equilibrium takes the Fractal series on a simple but dedicated flavor ride with all Citra hops.
Densely packed with goldenrod hues, and glowing with a pastel tone and a matte finish on the glass, Citra Fractal floats a creamy white froth and a billowing bouquet of citrus, tropical fruit and herb. A light cereal sweetness kicks off the taste with notions of honeysuckle, agave, shortcake and vanilla wafer.
As those Citra hops unfold on the middle palate, the radiant fruit character turns even more fruity to taste with tangerine and mandarin orange character, backed with red grapefruit. With a hint of pineapple, mango, passionfruit and papaya coming in next. Trending juicy with an all-things-orange impresison, the late taste comes with a balancing bitterness of tea, spruce, citronella and bright chive.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the beer's juicy character is plump until the very end where it dries with a snappy and spicy hop bite. Finishing with a fresh and peppery herb bite, the ale extends with a medium length linger of bitter verbena and citrus peel.

The deep orange colored can pour is fully opaque with a thin cap of white fine foam and and an aroma of orange blossoms.
The flavor is full with mango, orange and melon most prominent. This is fruit forward with low hop bitterness.
This is a superb, richly flavored IPA with a light body and mouthfeel.
