L - pours a thick, low-visibility, hazy dark yellow with light orange fringes. Looks like oats and OJ. Head calms down quick and leaves a ring of lacing.
S - ripe melon and grapefruit rind. Loads of what's gotta be Galaxy with soft, yeasty pineapple out the wazoo. Bits of bubblegum and honey.
T - more bitterness than the nose would suggest. Crabgrass and fresh hop overtones draped upon a sea of green pineapple and mango. Crisp, wintry, juicy pine a la Tree House Sap. Pink grapefruit, gum, and a touch of orange creamsicle on the finish. Finishes grassy and dry, leaving me craving another sip.
F - full and creamy, perfect body for this style of beer. Leaves minimal sugariness on the finish and achieves the impressive feat of a rich, boozy, sugary brew without any of the cloying after effects. That pine sucks up all moisture. Nice.
O - my first Equilibrium brew and hopefully not my last! I had heard good things, but didn't expect this sort of quality. Well-rounded NEIPA with a grounded pine bite to remind you this isn't just another juice bomb.

really well made IPA--gorgeous to look at, and has those ripe NE ipa flavors, leaning toward the grapefruit end of the spectrum...not grassy or piney, woth mild bitterness on the finish... very crushable and distinct!

Released 12/30/17; drank 1/15/18 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice, bright white head; a thick, impenetrable wall of lace.
Lemon, dry grass, mild grapefruit & faint sugar notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Lemon & mild grapefruit flavors up front; pine, mild dry grass & faint cane sugar notes on the finish. No booze heat.
I'd prefer a bit more sweetness in a NE IPA, but this acquitted itself nicely; balanced & drinkable. Not my go-to, but I'd have another.
