dHop 2 is a 8.5% DIPA that investigates the interplay between our ale strain and an intensive Mosaic and Citra forward hop bill woven four times into its creative process. It pours a very murky tangerine color, releasing notes of orange juice (with pulp) and earthy grass. The taste is highly resinous, dank-citrus, pine juice, with a chewy mouth feel and a firm and pointed bitterness.

*Purchased from a craft bar in Lisbon (distance might have played a role)*
The notes, the taste and the consistency was there, however I might have got a poor batch - no carbonation, therefore no foam and little pleasure in drinking it. Too bad, must retry a proper sample!

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange, pineapple, mango and sweet caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

16 oz can from Rick. Another NE IPA, getting hard to tell the difference. Cloudy golden pour , small foamy head. Tropical aroma, tropical life savers notes. More sweet tropical flavors, melon, pineapple, peach.. Juicy.

This was a refreshing pool beer for me - but it hit all the right notes. Really solid EQ - one of my favs from the dhop series.

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of orange citrus are present in the nose along with notes of lime.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of pine towards the finish. The hops also contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied, crisp and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer drinks very easy considering its strength and isn't that heavy in body.
Serving type: can

A 1 pint can, canned on 7th April 2022, poured into a winebar glass.
Appearance: A hazy orange colour with a one finger white head that had good retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Orange juice, citrus rind, melon, mango, with notes of grass.
Taste: Juicy, sweet and bitter. Sweet, tropical, mango and pineapple to start, followed by citrus, mandarin, citrus rind, and resinous, dank, piney notes, with a lasting bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, medium bodied, with soft to moderate carbonation.
Overall: An excellent NEDIPA that’s just delicious and goes down so easy. It has a good sweet and bitter balance with the type of juicy combo that I enjoy.
