Notes: dHop5 is a 8.0% DIPA that supersizes one of our favorite Equilibrium IPAs: Fractal Citra/Galaxy. We scaled Fractal’s grain bill, water treatment, fermentation, and super sized the hop bill of citra and galaxy. dHop5 pours a milky straw yellow (milk>haze) releasing aromas of passion fruit, peach, lime, and pineapple all integrated with a sorbet twist. The taste is a bright creamy tropical flavor that is dangerously drinkable and balanced.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of lime citrus are present in the nose along with hints of pineapple.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of pineapples are a bit stronger and there are also some hints of gooseberry.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and juicy on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I particularly enjoyed the flavors of pineapples in the taste of this beer. It also drank very well considering its strength.

No can date
Pours a larger frothy thick almost 2 finger head with great retention, soapy lacing, hazy cloudy pale orange color

Nose brings loads of citrus and tropical fruit, mango, papaya, pineapple, citrus pith, light grainy creamy malt, light alcohol

Taste brings more citrus and tropical fruit, orange cream, tangerine, mango, pineapple, papaya, etc, hint of grassy green bitterness, lots of creamy flaked proteins, cereal, a little chalky mineral, light alcohol flavor, drier mild sticky finish

Mouth is med to fuller bod, creamy smooth, fair warming slight tingly alcohol

Overall not bad, a bit too boozy but hops are nice, base malt and flaked proteins are good as well as water softening minerals, etc

Golden pineapple haze with white lacing. Hoppy, tropical melon. Nice balanced tropical hoppiness with a drier finish. Medium bodied and super smooth going down, good beer.

A 1 pint can, with no canned on or best before date, but should be released on 20th October 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A hazy orange yellow colour with a two finger white head that had good retention and left lots of nice lacing.

Aroma: Fruity, passion fruit, pineapple, peach, mango, grapefruit, lime, citrus rind and pith.

Taste: Juicy, melon, pineapple, papaya, peach, lightly bitter, grapefruit, lime, orange, with notes of grass.

Mouthfeel: Slightly creamy, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: A nice and easy drinking NEDIPA, although the melon flavours were perhaps a little strong for me.

Growler into pint glass. Pours a cloudy amber with a coarse, fluffy, off=white head. Initial impression is in-your-face grapefruit, orange, mango, and caramel - lots going on here! Mouthfeel is fairly thick and very juicy - perfect for a DIPA. Alcohol is very well hidden. Finish is juicy and spicy. Excellent DIPA!

S-loaded with hops.......citrus, mostly grapefruit and lime, some passionfruit

T-hits the spot........very juicy and refreshing........strong notes of the aforementioned passionfruit........grapefruit is also up front......some pineapple sweetness to balance the citrus bitterness........lots of orange juice pulp

F- very drinkable....carb is spot on for the flavor........ABV is well hidden
