Can dated 9/7/2018. Poured into tulip glass. It pours a cloudy, golden tangerine color with a thin cap of milk-white head and spotty lacing. It's nicely aromatic with smells of tangerine, lemon, pineapple, and soft floral hops. The taste bursts with fresh fruit: peach, tangerine, pineapple, and melon. There is also a solid dose of lactose which adds both sweetness and creaminess. The blend Citra, Galaxy, Denali, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops is soft and plush with only moderate bitterness. This ale has a surprisingly delicate mouth feel for its 10% ABV. While you know you are drinking a big beer, the alcohol doesn't overwhelm. Overall, this collaboration is quite an achievement. High ABV TIPAs are seldom this delicious. I hope Even More Waves is brewed again.
