Fractal Enigma+Citra investigates the interplay between Enigma and Citra, and our revised hopping processes.
This beer pours a resinous-hazy-straw yellow releasing complex aromas of pinto gris white wine, bright grass, and tropical melon. The taste follows the aroma with a resinous creamy mouthfeel and a firm but rounded bitterness.

This pours a whitish, light gold color. Cloudy. Three-finger head to begin--slow to recede. Some webby lacing on the glass.
Dirt and earth first come to mind when smelling this beer. There's a faint touch of floral hop and nearly no base pale malt to the nose.
The pale malt starts off relatively dry but it becomes sweeter as the earthy hop starts to kick in. The body leans rich while the carbonation leans light. The finish is almost chewy with earthiness fading, and straight up bitterness taking over. Moderate aftertaste length with the soil-like notes returning.

Poured a cloudy yellow-gold body with two-finger head that sticks around for a long time and leaves a little lace ring. Acidic aroma, not exactly OJ, but it's strong and sharp with a little tartness. The beer is not as tart as the aroma as it's acidic, slightly sweet and sour with a puckering sweetness to it, little thick/syrupy mouthfeel, finish is rather dense and sweet than tart/sour, with a blend of juiciness that befits this well-balanced beer.

From a 16oz can, dated 10/30/18. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours a thoroughly hazy golden-yellow with a lush two-finger head of soft suds. Retention is excellent, eventually subsiding to a thick, lumpy cap and fat gobs of sticky lacing.
A disappointingly faint nose of something vaguely sharp, tart and citrusy. Some poundcake-like aroma develops as it warms up a little.
Taste follows the nose but with the volume turned up. Sweet orange, kiwi, lime, peppery spice and mineral water. A quick taste of onion, there and then gone. Lightly juicy with low bitterness and a fast, clean finish.
Feel is clean and quenching, medium-thin bodied and brightly carbonated.
Overall, a well-made, tasty beer.
